Places for Play Study Tour: London

Next tour date to be announced for January 2009

A guided tour visiting play spaces and places that will prompt and respond to the very practical questions play providers need to address. We will tour and talk together about a range of play spaces and places, including PLAYLINK designed schemes and those of others.

The Places for Play Study Tour: London, is offered in two forms:

• corporately: for those play providers who want to bring a group of key local stakeholders, including Members, H&S officers, Planners, Voluntary Sector, Community and Local groups and other
• individually: we will be announcing dates of tours over the coming weeks.

We aim to show you play provision in a range of settings. The places we visit will inevitably prompt questions about, for example:

• fencing
• dogs
• sand and water
• vandalism
• ‘consultation’ and local engagement
• creating a local momentum: making the case that play space must be designed space.

Places £195.00 plus VAT per person.
