The Stirling Places for Play Study Tour - June

Last of the summer season. A few places left.

A real opportunity for those being quick-marched through Pathfinder and Playbuilder programmes to take temporary pause and benefit from an intensive programme of site visits, workshops and discussions that address the range of issues that have an impact on creating first class play opportunities. So dogs, cats, foxes, drug addicts, sand and water are on the menu, as are maintenance issues, health and safety considerations, fencing, consultation – and just what is the role of play equipment?

Comments from the tours (You will see we have much to live up to...).

I feel honoured to have come - refreshed, valued, invigorated and full of inspiration. Many thanks.

Absolutely loved all visits. Great to talk to others in a spontaneous way and at the sites. Lots of knowledge shared. 'Experiencing' the sites cannot be stressed enough.

Fantastic! Feel really inspired. It was really useful to see sites in such varied rural and urban areas.

It was really interesting hearing about their people's work. From the very first session I found myself rethinking principles that I had not reflected on for some time.

Truly inspiring and very helpful.

Site visits were very informative. Interesting to see how ideas put into practice and to meet the various parties involved in the process.

The facilitators made the study tour enjoyable because of their obvious enthusiasm for what they were doing . Also very knowledgeable.

Brilliant, inspiring, stimulating. The tour really helped to inject enthusiasm for an area of work that has always felt unfulfilling but without apparent alternatives that can work in this country. Thanks for a well spent three days.
